Love the World is the philosophy that lays out all of the actions carried out by Desigual in accordance with its social and environmental commitments. A declaration of intent supported by tangible actions under which the company sets its goals for the future as it strives to work with a sustainable fashion production model that is respectful towards people and the planet.

Our 2020-2023 Strategic Sustainability and CSR Plan includes our various projects and initiatives regarding product, suppliers, environment, employees, clients and community for the next three years.

Some of Desigual's main objectives are to manufacture its collections from 50% sustanable fibres by 2023, reduce its carbon footprint by 2025, become carbon neutral by 2050 and phase out single-use plastic by 2021.

Desigual is a member of several initiatives and associations which will support us as we further our social and environmental sustainability commitments. Among them are Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), Textile Exchange, Sedex and Amfori.

Sustainable fibres

By 2023, Desigual's collections will be made up of 50% sustainable fibres and 100% "more" sustainable cotton by 2025.

Plastic

In 2021 we will phase out single-use plastic, and any plastic used will be recycled or recyclable.

Carbon footprint

Our goal is to reduce our carbon footprint by 25% for 2025 and to become a carbon neutral company by 2050.

At Desigual, we are very aware that our activity has a direct impact on our environment and we advocate a conscious and responsible way of acting. We want to grow in a sustainable and sustained way, and for our footprint as a brand to be positive. In this regard, our CSR strategy covers six key areas: employees, customers, suppliers, product, environment and community.

The sustainability report includes the necessary information for understanding the evolution, results and situation of a company or group of companies as well as the impact of their activities with regard to various areas.
