The Circular Denim Project

Rooted in the circular economy and leveraging innovative processes, this project, involves transforming garments that have reached the end of their useful life into a new collection with a focus on sustainability.

We’ve created a collection of recycled and recyclable denim pieces so that their life cycle never ends.

How do we create the collection?

Discover every step we take to craft this circular denim capsule collection

EPISODE I

We work with Fundació CEO Maresme (Barcelona) to remove the hardware from the jeans.

Processes:

1. Separate the fabric from the hardware

EPISODE II

In Belda Llorèns (Alicante), the denim scraps are converted into thread which is then sent to Textil Santanderina (Cantabria) to make the fabric.

Processes:

2. Cut the jeans into tiny pieces 3. Turn these scraps into thread 4. Make new denim fabric

EPISODE III

Our designers at Headquarters in Barcelona design the garments. The garments are then produced and washed to get the different shades of indigo.

Processes:

5. Design 6. Creation 7. Sustainable wash

With a design based on the circular economy, these denim garments can easily be recycled again at the end of their useful life.
